Nichole Kelland, RVT, Full Time Pet Sitter
Nichole, the owner of Happier At Home, is also a Registered Veterinary Technician with over 10 years of experience in the pet industry. In 1999 she started pet sitting part-time while going to school to become a vet. tech. Once she graduated in 2000 she started working at a small animal hospital in Medina and continued to grow her pet sitting clientele. After leaving small animal practice she worked at a large specialty/emergency practice in Copley. She loved the work but third shift was difficult because she had to be awake during the day to care for her clients pets while they were out of town. In June 2006 Nichole left the emergency clinic in order to focus on pet sitting. She will still occasionally work at the emergency clinic, but she definitely prefers full-time pet sitting.
Nichole shares her home with her husband Paul, 6 cats-Mona, Luger, Abbey Road, Mouse, Floyd and Henry and a turtle-Norton. She also has a horse-Pik's Windancer (Priss or Dancer for short) that stays with a friend for now.
Paul, Part Time Pet Sitter
Paul is a very part time pet sitter. He has been helping Nichole out for the past 8 years. He is most comfortable with kitties, but he does do well with dogs. He is currently enrolled at Akron U. in the business college.
